Regal Époque is finished in two metals at once: gold on the raised baroque carving, antique silver in the ground beneath it, so the frame changes character with the light, warmer in the evening and cooler by day. It is the most vintage-looking of our gilded mirrors, and beside a pale blue tufted sofa it looks like it came from a Haussmann apartment.
The frame is 5.3 cm wide and 2.3 cm deep, carved by hand from eco-friendly wood, and fitted with 4 mm Optiwhite glass that reflects without the green cast of ordinary mirror glass. Each mirror is finished to order in our workshop in Wrocław, Poland, and the balance between the two tones is set by hand on every piece.
Fifteen sizes, from 50 × 100 cm to 100 × 180 cm. The tall formats are a full-length mirror for a bedroom or hallway; the 50 × 120 cm size above a console is the arrangement we would suggest first. Haussmannian, Italian and Scandinavian rooms all suit it, and if yours is none of these, send us a photo and we will tell you.
