Majestic Gilded is the one we hang wide. Above a tufted sofa, with a marble fireplace to one side and a chandelier overhead, the frame runs the full width of the seating and the room suddenly has a centre. The scrollwork, floral motifs and small architectural elements are carved densely, but the antique gold is warm rather than bright, so the whole piece settles into the wall instead of shouting from it.
Every frame is finished by hand, so the depth of the gold shifts slightly from one carving to the next; the glass inside is 4 mm Optiwhite, chosen because it has none of the green cast that would dull a gold frame. The frame is made from eco-conscious materials, and we finish each piece to order in our workshop in Wrocław, Poland.
Fifteen sizes, from 50 × 100 cm to 100 × 180 cm. On its side, the 50 × 140 cm or 60 × 140 cm size is the sofa arrangement from our photographs; upright, the 90 × 180 cm format becomes a hall mirror that greets people at the door. If your sofa is unusually wide, tell us its length and we will say which size will look intended rather than small.
