Gold baroque mirrors, genuinely handmade to order

Every gold baroque mirror on this page is hand-carved and hand-gilded, then made to order in Poland — each piece is produced after you order it, not picked from mass-produced stock. Frames are carved wood finished with a hand-applied antique gold patina and glazed with Optiwhite low-iron glass, with a production time of 15 to 20 business days.

The carving is the part that cannot be faked. On a genuinely hand-carved frame the scrollwork is slightly asymmetrical from one side to the other, and the gold sits deeper in the recesses than on the raised edges, because the patina is rubbed back by hand after gilding.

Verona Gilded Heritage — natural wood, widest profile

Sizes and prices

All 15 formats are available on every model. Two price tiers apply: Tier A covers Majestic Versailles, Golden Majesty and Golden Petal; Tier B covers Versailles Majesty, Golden Elegance and Verona Gilded Heritage. All prices include VAT.

How ordering works

1. Choose a model and a size. Pick one of the six frames above, then select your format from the 15 available on the product page.
2. Order and pay. Card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer. Production starts once payment clears.
3. Your mirror is made. The frame is carved, gilded and aged by hand, then glazed with Optiwhite glass. Allow 15 to 20 business days.
4. Insured delivery. Shipped across Europe in custom protective packaging. Shipping cost depends on weight and dimensions and is calculated in the cart before you pay.
5. Check it with the courier. Unpack in the courier's presence. If there is transport damage, a damage report signed by you and the courier is required for the claim.

Delivery, returns and warranty

• Delivery area: all countries in Europe.
• Shipping cost: varies with the weight and dimensions of the mirror; the exact amount is shown in the cart once you select a delivery method.
• Production time: 15–20 business days, plus transit.
• Returns: 14 days from delivery. Return shipping is paid by the buyer, and the mirror must come back unaltered with its labels intact. Mirrors made to individual specifications are excluded.
• Warranty: 2 years for private customers, 1 year for business customers.

Frequently asked questions

Are these mirrors really handmade, or factory-made?

Really handmade. Each frame is carved and hand-finished by an artisan, and the antique gold patina is applied and rubbed back by hand, which is why no two frames are identical. Production only begins after you order — nothing ships from pre-made stock.

Where are they made?

In Poland. Reflessa is based in Wrocław and ships across Europe.

How long does a gold baroque mirror take?

15 to 20 business days of production, plus transit time. There is no faster option, because the frame is carved and gilded after the order is placed.

What sizes can I order?

15 formats, from 50 × 100 cm up to 100 × 180 cm, on every model. If you need a format outside this grid, write to office@reflessa.com — but note that a mirror made to your individual specification is excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal.

What glass is used?

Optiwhite low-iron glass, which has no green tint at the edges and reflects colours truthfully. Golden Majesty, Golden Elegance and Verona Gilded Heritage are specified at 4 mm.

How much does delivery cost?

It depends on the weight and dimensions of the mirror — a 50 × 100 cm frame and a 100 × 180 cm frame are not shipped the same way. The exact cost is calculated in the cart after you choose a delivery method, before payment.
