Onyx Scroll is baroque without the gold: a black frame with the scrollwork picked out in silver, which is why it works in rooms where gold would be too warm. Hung between two brass sconces above a console, the silver takes the warm light and cools it, and the black holds the whole wall together.
The scrollwork is elaborate and finished by hand, so each frame is detailed a little differently. The glass is 4 mm Optiwhite with no green tint, so a pale grey wall reflects as pale grey and not as something greener. The frame is made from eco-conscious materials, and every mirror is finished to order in our workshop in Wrocław, Poland.
Fifteen sizes, from 50 × 100 cm to 100 × 180 cm. The tall formats are a full-length mirror for a modern luxury hallway or bedroom; the 60 × 120 cm size on its side above a console is the arrangement from our photographs. To see how this onyx finish compares with our round and arched black frames, have a look at our black mirrors page, or just ask.
