Versailles Majesty is carved in the full 18th-century French vocabulary: scrolls, leafwork and shell motifs, cut by hand into solid wood and finished in a rich antique gold with the warmth of age in it. The frame is 8.5 cm wide and 3.2 cm deep, and between two wall sconces in a bedroom it has the bearing of a palace piece without the stiffness.
The glass is 4 mm Optiwhite, the clearest we use, with no green tint and no distortion, so the gold around it is the only warmth in the reflection. Every frame is carved and finished to order in our workshop in Wrocław, Poland, from sustainably sourced wood, which is why the shell motifs are never quite identical from one mirror to the next.
Fifteen sizes, from 50 × 100 cm to 100 × 180 cm. Grand living rooms, formal dining rooms, hallways and dressing rooms all suit it; hotel lobbies and restaurants have ordered the largest formats. Upright or on its side, and if you want a second opinion on the size, send us the wall.
