Rustic Gold Flourish is for rooms with a bit of patina already in them: oak floors, linen, a worn leather chair. The frame starts as dark-stained wood, is carved with baroque floral motifs, and then gilded in a honeyed gold that is deliberately aged, so the dark base shows through in the recesses. Nothing about it looks brand new, and that is the point.
The profile is slender, 4.5 cm wide and 3.2 cm deep, which keeps the carving delicate rather than heavy. The glass is 4 mm Optiwhite, clear and free of the green tint, so warm interiors stay warm in the reflection. Each frame is carved and finished individually in our workshop in Wrocław, Poland, from sustainably sourced wood.
Fifteen sizes from 50 × 100 cm to 100 × 180 cm. The 50 × 140 cm format hung on its side above a sideboard, between two wall lights, is the arrangement we would start with; upright, the taller sizes become a full-length mirror for a hallway or bedroom. Tell us where it is going and we will suggest the size that fits.
