Golden Serenity is the baroque mirror for people who find most baroque mirrors a bit much. The period ornament is all there, but the frame is kept to 5.1 cm wide and 2.4 cm deep, and the antique gold has a faintly greenish, aged tone rather than a bright shine. Above a stone fireplace, next to a green velvet armchair, it looks inherited rather than bought.
The glass is 4 mm Optiwhite, low-iron, so the reflection is clear and the colours in it are honest, which matters when the room is built around cream walls, rich fabrics and natural wood. The frame sits on a solid wood base with professional-grade hanging hardware, and every mirror is made to order in our workshop in Wrocław, Poland.
Fifteen sizes, from 50 × 100 cm to 100 × 180 cm: the slimmer formats work as a hallway centrepiece or above a mantelpiece, the taller ones as a bedroom mirror you can see yourself in head to toe. If you can describe the wall, we can recommend the size.
