Imperial Noir is black and gold in equal measure: deep black across the body of the frame, lustrous gold brushed over the scrollwork, floral motifs and architectural details, so the ornament is drawn in light. Above a mirrored dressing table under a chandelier it multiplies every reflection in the room, which is the kind of excess a dressing room is allowed.
The detailing is hand-finished, and the glass is 4 mm Optiwhite with zero green tint and no distortion, so what you see in it is exactly what is in front of it. The frame is made from sustainably sourced materials, and each mirror is finished to order in our workshop in Wrocław, Poland.
Sixteen sizes, from 50 × 100 cm to 110 × 160 cm, one more than our other baroque frames: the 110 × 160 cm format exists for the wall that needs a wide, almost square presence, above a double console or a wide chest. The tall 90 × 180 cm format is the full-length mirror for a dramatic hallway. If you cannot decide between Imperial Noir and the darker Nocturne Royale, send a photo of the room and we will tell you which one it is asking for.
