Organic Mirrors
An organic mirror is a mirror whose outline follows a soft, irregular curve instead of a circle, a rectangle or an arch. Ours are cut from 4 mm Optiwhite glass with no frame at all - the hand-polished edge is the finish - in five sculpted silhouettes, five sizes from 120 x 60 cm to 210 x 100 cm, at 368-688 EUR.
Every piece is cut and polished to order in our own workshop in Wroclaw, Poland (EU), in 15-20 business days, and delivered to 29 European countries. The five organic silhouettes
All five share the same glass, the same edge treatment and the same five sizes. What differs is the line - and that is what decides where each one belongs.
Aurora - the flowing curve
The most even of the five: one long, continuous curve with no sharp turn. It reads as calm rather than sculptural, which makes it the safest choice above a sofa or a sideboard, where you want the shape to soften the wall without competing with the furniture. See Aurora.
Serene Curve - the soft pebble
Rounder and more compact in feel, with gentler proportions between height and width. The one to choose when the mirror will stand on the floor, leaning, rather than hang - the wide, soft base looks deliberate against a skirting board. See Serene Curve.
Luna - the asymmetric crescent
Clearly off-balance: one side rises higher than the other. Use it where the wall itself is asymmetric - beside a door frame, next to a tall plant, at the end of a run of shelving - because the shape absorbs that imbalance instead of drawing attention to it. See Luna.
Solis - the bold silhouette
The strongest outline of the five, with the most pronounced turns. It works as the only object on a large empty wall, and it is the one to avoid if the wall is already busy with art or wallpaper. See Solis.
Nova - the fluid form
Between Luna and Solis: fluid, clearly irregular, but without a dominant high point. A good default when you like the organic look but do not want the mirror to become the loudest thing in the room. See Nova.

Every silhouette comes in the same five formats. Prices are per mirror, VAT included.

210 x 100 cm is the largest surface we make in any line. Anything above 120 x 60 cm ships on our oversized-mirror rate of 100 EUR across Europe; the 120 x 60 cm format ships free. The exact amount is shown in the cart before you pay.
Which size for which wall
- Above a sideboard or console (120-180 cm wide): 120 x 60 cm or 150 x 70 cm. Keep the mirror narrower than the furniture and leave 15-20 cm between the top of the unit and the bottom of the glass.
- Above a sofa (200-240 cm wide): 170 x 80 cm hung horizontally, or 190 x 90 cm if the wall runs to the ceiling. An organic outline tolerates being off-centre far better than a rectangle does.
- A narrow wall between two doors: 120 x 60 cm hung vertically. The curve hides the fact that the wall is not square.
- Leaning on the floor: 190 x 90 cm or 210 x 100 cm. Below 170 cm a leaning mirror stops showing a full reflection of an adult.
- An entire empty wall: 210 x 100 cm. At this size the mirror stops being decoration and becomes the architecture of the room.

Why frameless works for an organic shape
A frame has to follow the outline. On a curve that changes radius several times, that means either a moulded profile (expensive, and it flattens the line) or a compromise. Removing the frame removes the problem: the shape stays exactly as drawn.
- 4 mm Optiwhite glass - low-iron, so there is no green cast along the edge. On a frameless mirror the edge is visible from every angle, which is precisely where ordinary float glass gives itself away.
- Hand-polished edge - smooth and safe to touch, finished by hand along the whole irregular outline.
- Reinforced back and hanging hardware included - the fixings are matched to the size you order.
- Made to order - nothing is cut before you buy, which is why production takes 15-20 business days.
Delivery, returns and warranty
- Production: 15-20 business days in our workshop in Wroclaw, Poland (EU).
- Delivery: up to 7 days from dispatch, to all 29 European countries we serve.
- Shipping cost: free at 120 x 60 cm; 100 EUR flat for every larger format.
- Returns: 14 days from delivery, return shipping paid by the buyer. Mirrors cut to your own individual dimensions are excluded, as EU law allows for made-to-specification goods.
- Warranty: 2 years for private customers, 1 year for business customers.
- On delivery: unpack in front of the courier. A damage report signed with the courier is required for any transport claim.

Frequently asked questions
What exactly is an organic mirror?
A mirror with a soft, irregular outline drawn from natural forms - a pebble, a wave, a leaf - rather than from geometry. There is no single correct shape, which is why we offer five distinct silhouettes rather than one.
Is a frameless mirror safe?
Yes. Every edge is polished by hand until it is smooth to the touch, and the back is reinforced. That is what makes the frame unnecessary rather than merely omitted.
What size organic mirror should I buy?
Match it to the furniture below it, not to the room: narrower than the sideboard or sofa it hangs above. For a leaning mirror, 190 x 90 cm is the smallest format that still shows a full-height reflection.
Do the shapes distort the reflection?
No. The glass is flat 4 mm Optiwhite. Only the outline is curved, so the reflection is true and colour-accurate; a curved outline does not bend the image.
How long does an order take?
15-20 business days of production, plus up to 7 days of delivery. Each mirror is cut after the order is placed.
Can I order a shape that is not on this page?
We cut to your own dimensions in the existing silhouettes. Entirely new outlines are handled case by case - write to office@reflessa.com with a sketch and the wall dimensions.
